Short story about craymels - they are basically summons in Tales of Eternia. They are used to perform Craymel Artes (spells), and as you use them, and their vitality hits MAX, they are summonable. Only Keele and Meredy can use them. Fringing brings their vitality down, but helps THEM learn new spells so that the characters can use them, but you need two craymel cages to fringe.

It really doesn't matter, because I am playing it as Craymels aren't... as around as they should be, and the two craymels that Keele's got are hiding in their cage and not coming out. This is mainly because the Craymels have personalities AND potentially could be apped, and I'm not playing them, I'm playing Keele. ICly, Keele has two craymels with him - Efreet and Sylph. These are the craymels available pre-disc 2 (not counting Undine), and how the anime separates up the craymels - besides, Fire and Water (Undine) are not best kept in the same container...

ALL THAT TO SAY by their powers combined, they make up/can summon the Craymel of Light, a Greater Craymel, named Rem. These are the Inferian craymels.

That does imply that there are Celestian Craymels, whose pictures I didn't upload. They are Gnome (earth), Celcius (ice) and Volt (Electricity), who make up/can summon Shadow, the Greater Craymel of Celestia. Ooh aah, yeah I know.

There are also two more craymels, one from each world, but they're hidden and stuff, maaan. Maxwell and Sekundes, Maxwell is elemental, Sekundes is Time.

Tales of Eternia is the third part of the Tales of line of games. It came out for PSX in Japan in 2000, in North America in 2001 (as Tales of Destiny II). It was also recently (fairly) released for PSP in Japan, and UBIsoft released it in Europe in english but AFAIK there's no NA release scheduled (BUT THE PSP IS GAME-REGION FREE)

Please note that Tales of Destiny II =/= Tales of Destiny 2. Tales of Destiny 2 came out for PS2 and was never released outside of Japan, and is actually a sequel to Tales of Destiny (imagine!) while Tales of Destiny II (or Eternia) has nothing to do with Destiny. I believe the story goes that they had to rename it since Eternia infringed upon He Man's copyright. I... really don't know how true that is. |D

Anyway it is the story of girl meets planet forcefully, boy and girl find girl and rescue girl and then they go meet boy 2 and etc. I.

Inferia. Celestia. Boom! Is of course, the best explanation for the game ever.

ANYWAY.

THEY RELEASED A 13 EPISODE ANIME AND A MANGA FOR THIS GAME. There are currently 5 volumes of manga out and it appears to be a complete manga adaptation. The anime is almost a side story that occurs before the end of the first disc!

I am here to share the manga with you, or at least all that I have that's currently been scanslated. :Db

Hugging/kissing/other non-violent physical contact: Yes please. Keele is an absolute dork when it comes to physical contact - good or bad - and so. Please.

Maim/murder/death: Keele is prone to injury, however, this is something that should likely be discussed.

What's okay to mention around him: I... honestly don't think anything is really offlimits. I have no idea where in canon he's coming from yet though, so...

Physical traits: Keele has long blue hair. He is not terribly robust. He breaks easily. :(

Abilities: Keele is a scholar and a Craymel mage; he has some natural spells that he could use in camp, but right now, I'm playing as if he doesn't have use of the Greater Craymels in camp. He could hit you with his staff but you probably wouldn't feel much of anything.
